Four Seasons Hill (Shikisai No Oka)
Asparagus, sweetcorn, melon and many other fruits and vegetables grown at Shikisai no Oka's Farm are sold at the market area on the first floor, as well as tasty food to eat in. We recommend the original grilled mutton with sauce. Delicious!

FERME LA TERRE BIEI
A shop that sells mouthwatering desserts and breads, made from the finest local ingredients. The shop also sells cookies inspired by the astonishing scenery of rice paddy fields.

2Handcrafts
Kaikukiln
The ceramic clay pots from this kiln were featured in a Japanese TV series named Yasashii Jikan. The kiln's products are inspired by the chill, breeze and silence of Biei's winter. Mugs and their Dreamy Butterfly ceramics are their signature goods.

Suinokago
We recommend Shirokaba Kago, a handmade basket woven from Biei's iconic silver birch tree bark. The shop owner, who was born in Biei, goes to gather white birch tree bark himself and it takes a year to complete these lovely products.

Roadside station Biei "Okanokura"
One of the hot spots for Biei souvenirs is right in front of Biei's station. The merchandise lineup mainly consists of local food products but they do also sell wood and ceramic products.
